EvilTheCat's compendious comments on 'Alien: The Director's cut'

grokmunchkin is dead. Long live EvilTheCat!

anyway...

The extra footage was a good addition to the film, in my opinion. Brett and Parker's characters are fleshed out a bit, their distaste for the mission more aparent. You get to see a little more of the alien, there's a little more blood, and you get to see the fabled scene where Ripley stumbles upon Dallas and Brett all cocooned up. The revised score seems a little naff to me.

So there.
