Pope of Trash

John Waters, dubbed the "Pope of Trash" by William Burroughs (man, that guy gets everywhere...), talks his way through exploitation movies, the first gay porn magazine, and how irony has killed trash culture, among other things. (Real or Windows Media Player, 39 mins 26 secs)

I'm a big fan of John Waters, despite having been subjected to cry baby repeatedly by my sisters as I was growing up (it was that and the Karen Carpenter story). Anyone who says "I pride myself on the fact that my work has no socially redeeming value," has gotta be cool.
