Have you ever been walking down the street and passed a crew of 'boys' only to have one of them get up in your face talking like a rasta? No? Well, I have, and I've often wondered what those insults they be throwing in my face mean.

Usually, the words are of rastafarian etymology that have undergone some kind of mutation at the hands of white boys who listen to too much jungle. For example, the term 'block up', to get high, stems for the rasta term 'black up', which means the same thing.

and the word 'clart', meaning a generally foolish or stupid person, comes from 'bumbaclot' which means, according to this dictionary, "to have one's spouse or girl/boy-friend cheat on
oneself, to be cheated out of something" or perhaps (according to urbandictionary.com) "A cloth or rag used to wipe ones anal region." but, along with clot and bloodclot, could simply be curse words with no real meaning at all.
