Just hook it up to my veins...

Why is it that songs about hard drugs and drug use are so fucking good? I mean, check out the velvet underground. Lou Reed was a smackhead, wrote heroin and waiting for the man, which are fucking amazing songs, especially heroin. Is it because of their subject matter? Perhaps, but the music on both tracks is really really good. Now, I've had Heroin & Cocaine, probably the most catchy track on the album, by Hang on the Box stuck in my head for the past few days. I've been wondering around the house wailing "Heroin, heroin and cocaaaaine" in mah best asiangirldoingpunkrock voice.

You know, I could probably make a more convincing arguement if I wasn't hung over.
