Cool and Groovy attempt to define the gist of the Creative Commons license in 20 words. If you got mad linguistical 5k1llz, why not post your own?
( In filmmaking, A 20ish word description of a film is called a premise and is a terribly useful thing to have when people keep asking you what your film is about - which gets really annoying after like the third time )
I recently brought up the creative commons licence and the use of the the internet for distribution in a lecture on "The digital revolution" - I wanted to try and get a dialogue going but nobody knew what the fuck I was talking about, least of all the lecturers.
Also, read about the porting of the licence to the UK legal system here.

ADDENDUM:
A film premise is actually around 30 words.
