John Peel, one of the only radio DJs I would rate, has died at the age of 65.
When I was told, still kinda drunk, semi-hungover, and a little stoned, I sat there open mouthed saying "No..." over and over again. All my friend Shuan could say was "Sorry man..."
John was like no other. His voice oozed sincerity. His love of music impossible to ignore.

Then stick Teenage Kicks by the Undertones on and let your mind dwell on the late, great, Mr Peel.
He will be dearly missed.
