Court rejects cannabis pain relief bid

I wasn't gonna blog this. I've done my little batch of aggregating for the morn and was just gonna read it. Now I have read it I feel the need to comment.

Riddle me this, motherfuckers.

Why is it that cannabis is so villified? How come medicines that utilise cannabinoids (which also occur naturally in the brain) can't get a green light whilst an Anti-Depressant like Seroxat, which has been taken off the market because it was shown to cause psychosis and depression (huh?), can not only be deemed safe for human consumption but also be systematically given to teenagers by doctors across the country?
