This dude in the US decided to see if he could get away with signing strange things instead of his signiture when buying things on his credit card. He mostly got away with it. I'd be tempted to try this over here but, not only do I not own a credit card (evil, evil things. Especially for irresponsible people like myself), but with the new chip and pin system it wouldn't work. I guess they don't have anything as sophisticated as chip and pin in the US of A. Maybe they just don't care about fraud enough. As long as someone pays for it, eh?
