So, hip-hop is good, ain't it? I mean, it must be, what with the seminal grey album and outkast's double-solo-thing being two of the best things out there at the moment in alternative/mainstream-ville. I must admit I have been listening to an awful lot of the stuff recently, think I might of burnt my brain out on beats - need to listen to some fastasfuck distortedguitar moozik. Saying that, still planning on seeing Danger Mouse when he plays down the pier next month.
Browsing the plan B website (new art/culture/music magazine from one of the people that brought you CarelessTalkCostsLives - which I like because they write with that crazy Lester Bangs energy - or some knowing irony aproximation of it), through their list of cool gigs coming up soon and found this guy, who may or may not be the dude I saw in the welsh club quite some time ago upon hearing whom remarking "It's like Tom Waits but hiphop" which should be amazing but is merely a curiousity, IMHO.
Tonight, taking Ecstasy with my friends who happen to be goths.
Tomorrow, I think I'll renounce hedonism and join a convent.
There isn't actually any connection so don't bother looking for one.
